The office of the Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchasing good and services to carry out the functions of various departments in accordance with the law of the State of New Jersey. The purchasing department is to ensure that goods and services represent the best value, quality and timely delivery. These functions are performed in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.

Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP)

-Purchases between $6,600.00 and the statutory bid threshold of $44,000.00 will require a request for quotations. RFP are posted on the Township Purchasing Portal.

Request for Bid (RFB)

-According to the State Statue the township is required to solicit bids for goods and service when the cost exceeds the statutory bid threshold of $44,000.00. All Bids are posted on the Township Purchasing Portal.

Through the purchasing portal, businesses can register to automatically be notified of bidding opportunities with the Township. Also once registered, vendors can download current bid and proposal specifications, and track awards.
